I'm Sacha Styles, a film photographer and student from Sydney! I only shoot on film and do photography as a 'side job' as I'm finishing year 12 and my HSC this year.
This was my first shoot with my 'new' to me Leica M3 and Voigtlander 40mm f1.4 Nokton, shot with Kodak Portra 400, rated @ 200 just for that little piece of mind while metering with my Minolta IVF external meter.
The Leica is an early 60s double stroke model I bought off Ebay and is super clean! Owning a Leica has always been a dream for me and I love the M3 even more than I thought I would!
It is such a precise and beautiful bit of kit, the rangefinder is so bright and easy to focus, to the point where I now prefer rangefinder focus any day of the week and actually tend to dislike using SLRs now! This is a camera that truly makes you think and appreciate every single shot you take, and make getting them back that much more exciting.
